A Steadfast Step Forward in the Progress of the Esfahan Refinery RHU Project
During the first half of the year, the coordinated efforts and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by the engineering and procurement teams at Nargan Co. have led to a remarkable leap in the progress of the RHU Project at Esfahan Refinery, a project of strategic importance for sustainable development and environmental performance enhancement of the refinery. In this period, the project also achieved a new record for material delivery to the site, reaching 2,370 tons in May 2025 (Ordibehesht 1404) — the highest since the beginning of the project. This unprecedented volume represents a 30% increase compared to previous periods and has played a decisive role in accelerating work-front readiness and improving execution productivity. Currently, engineering progress has reached 90% and procurement progress stands at 85% — a milestone made possible through the dedication, focus, and synergy of Nargan’s specialized teams. This qualitative progress has laid a suitable infrastructure, paving the way toward achieving the project’s strategic objectives. Another major milestone was the commencement of transport for the project’s main reactors — the core equipment of the RHU unit — from Bandar Abbas customs to the refinery site. This marks a significant and practical step aligned with the Client’s Early Production strategy, ensuring the timely commissioning of the RHU unit and full synchronization between execution activities and the project’s master plan. Every small step toward realizing this national project is the outcome of collaboration, technical expertise, and confidence in local capabilities. With the continued commitment of our teams, a brighter future for Iran’s refining industry — and the true localization of large-scale EPC projects — is within reach.
